I recently order this string protector for my passport size Travelers Notebook and could not be more pleased!
The leather is smooth and soft to the touch while being both sturdy enough to buffer the elastics from digging into the edge of the TN leather cover and flexible enough to easily bend around to close and is beautifully made.
Chris was warm and friendly and quick to respond to my inquiry by email and it was shipped promptly. All in all a wonderful addition to my TN set up and I am so pleased to have found Altguild.

I barely got the traveler's notebook but love it already! It looks amazing and feels great. I also like how you can pick a class and add a name, the optional pen loop is nice too.
I ordered a Harry Potter Marauders Map TN sized leather cover from Altguild and when I tell you my mouth was hanging open when I opened the package - that's exactly what I mean. Seeing a picture and holding the cover are two different experiences. Chris is nothing short of a genius when it comes to leather craft. As a Harry Potter fan - I am over the moon. This leather is beautiful (it's stiff right now but it's new) and the detailing is just beyond. It is clear that Chris takes pride in his work. Little details like the Deathly Hallows symbol on the spine - just outstanding. I am in LOVE with this cover and I thank Chris so much for a beautiful item that I will treasure - ALWAYS! The ticket charms add to your cover, are well made and good quality leather. I have also bought these adorable little tags and added them to my jacket zipper pull and the tassels of bookmarks to make unique additions to ordinary items.

Love my book. Chris is fantastic to work with. I wasn't sure about all of the choices for books - how many laces, how big each book is, etc. He walked me through my options to give me the journal I wanted. I also asked for specific stamps and I absolutely love the final product!
I now own 3 Old Souls, in A6,B6 and wide size. I absolutely adore these covers. They are irresistible to me. When I got my first two I couldn’t put them down! They are gorgeous, and such good quality. They age so nicely, and get more and more beautiful as the years go by. Couldn’t recommend these enough!
